A support coordinator's SDA shortlist workflow

Coordinators juggle dozens of participants at once. A structured shortlist workflow makes the difference between a placement in weeks vs months.

1. Capture housing requirements

Record category, bedrooms, location, accessibility features and funding on the participant record. Consent flags matter for privacy.

2. Generate matches

The coordinator workspace scores published properties against requirements automatically. Review the top 10.

3. Shortlist and compare

Add 3–5 to a shortlist, use side-by-side compare, and share the shortlist link with the participant and family.

4. Enquire and inspect

Send information requests to providers directly. Book inspections. Use our inspection checklist on the day.

5. Track in a pipeline

The Kanban pipeline (New → Inspecting → Offer → Placed) makes reporting simple and avoids losing participants in inboxes.
