Days 1–7: paperwork
- Sign the SDA residency agreement.
- Confirm SIL provider start date.
- Update the NDIS portal with your new address.
- Arrange Commonwealth Rent Assistance if eligible.
Days 8–14: logistics
- Book removalists — flag any equipment (hoists, wheelchairs).
- Set up internet, utilities and mail redirect.
- Order any bedroom furniture that won't fit the new space.
Days 15–21: settling
- Meet your support team in the new home.
- Walk your neighbourhood — pharmacy, GP, shops.
- Set up assistive technology.
Days 22–30: review
