Provider Guides guide

Keeping vacancy information accurate

Vacancy accuracy is the single strongest signal of a trustworthy provider. Out-of-date vacancies waste everyone's time and damage confidence in the platform.

Set a routine

  • Confirm vacancy status fortnightly at minimum.
  • Update the listing the same day a vacancy fills.
  • Where a vacancy is being held for a housemate match, say so clearly.

What to avoid

  • Leaving filled properties listed to keep enquiry volume up.
  • Implying ongoing vacancies to build a "waitlist" without a real one.
  • Making guarantees about future vacancies or occupancy timing.
